LV third party only
LV’s third party only insurance is their cheapest level of cover and is the minimum legal requirement on UK roads. With LV third party car insurance, you are covered for:
- Damage sustained by somebody else’s car or property
- Medical expenses accrued by a third party if you have an accident
- Medical expenses accrued by any passengers in your car
LV third party, fire and theft
LV third party, fire and theft car insurance offers the same cover as a third party only policy, but with a few added extras. These include:
- Cover for your vehicle if it is stolen
- Cover for your vehicle if it sustains fire damage
LV comprehensive cover
LV fully comprehensive car insurance is their most popular policy and is available on all cars, offering all of the aforementioned benefits plus cover for:
- Your own vehicle in the event of an accident
- Any damage sustained by your vehicle accidentally
- Any damage sustained by your vehicle when the culprit cannot be identified
LV’s comprehensive car insurance also comes with the added bonus of an uninsured driver promise, meaning that you’ll pay no excess and retain your No Claims Bonus if an accident is proved to be the fault of an uninsured driver.
On top of this, you’ll get European cover for up to 180 days each year, replacement child car seats in the event of an accident and cover for lost keys and/or damaged locks.

LV= multi-car cover provides a discount to customers looking to insure more than one vehicle on the same policy.
You can add up to 6 cars and 12 drivers to a single policy as long as they are all registered to the same address and can select a specific date for the insurance on your various cars to begin.
Each named driver will retain their own no-claims discount, which will not be affected by any claims made by anybody else on the policy.
