Privilege Car Insurance
Privilege insurance was launched in 2004 and has since become known for their catchy tagline: ‘you don’t have to be posh to be privileged’.
As well as offering basic third party, fire and theft cover, Privilege also have 2 levels of comprehensive car insurance: ‘comprehensive’ and ‘comprehensive plus’, the latter of which comes with a range of extras and higher claims limits. Drivers under the age of 26 could get discounted cover by downloading the Privilege app or installing a Privilege black box into their car.
As part of a ‘comprehensive plus’ Privilege car insurance policy, you get:
- Guaranteed hire car for up to 21 days
- New car replacement (if written off before it’s 2 years old)
- Uninsured driver promise
- Automatic comprehensive cover abroad (up to 90 days)
- Motor legal protection (up to £100,000)
As is the case with various other insurance policies, you can improve your cover with some optional extras. These include:
- Protected no claims discount
- Breakdown cover (provided by GreenFlag)
